the thing is, they don’t seem so dazzling when you actually meet them because they’re so down to earth. Like, they were legitimatel more thankful that we came to the show and stayed after to say hi than any of us were to get to meet them. They didn’t make a big deal about making sure security was there to make sure they weren’t trampled or anything - the only reason security was there was to make sure we stayed out of the way of cars in the parking lot and didn’t get killed. They talked to us like we were friends and not just fans that they were tolerating. And every time I finished talking to one of them I said “thank you so much” and every single time they said “Oh no thank YOU” etc and yeah.
So I met a bunch of people at APOCALYPTOUR. I still can’t believe it happened. Um, so, story time, I guess?
The show was phenomenal. The merch ranges from $1 - $28. Charlene will draw on your bag (anything you want) if you buy one of her totes. All of the Starkids were so so soooo excited that fans stayed after to see them. They also all have to help load stuff up (I got to watch it - it’s almost as good as the show itself, and much more deadly). I didn’t get to meet everyone but I don’t care, I’d have been happy if I’d only met Megan Cox or Dave Scalia. If you want more details about the actual show, feel free to pop into my ask, but I won’t be posting any spoilers until the tour’s over.
